Back in Black
Having tried the watermelon wheat and not being terribly impressed, I saw this at the store and decided to try it.
Described as a Black IPA, after tasting it I thought it was a bit of a goof. It doesn't have the hops of an IPA and isn't very much in the line of a "black".
Having said that it wasn't that bad. I taste more like a light stout, if that is possible. The flavors were nice and even, a smooth almost roast flavor. The hops are mild. It reminds me of the Sinister Ale from 10 barrel. I would recommend it.
