Two Beers Recommendation
1. The Southern Oregon Brewing Porter. The brewery started up this year and I went to get a taste. First taste of the 4 types (gold, pale, ipa and porter) left something to be desired. I was guessing it was the first batch and tasted young.Hoping against hope I gave the porter another shot about a month ago.
It is better than Deschutes Black Butte Porter (the standard fav, which has declined). The bad thing is they don't make 1/6th kegs...yet so I can't put some in the kegarator. They are also only open two day a week so I can't get my growler filled (got work/sleep). Keep it up SOB!
2. Midnight Sun Brewing - Rhino Porter. A awesome coffee porter. A great flavor of beer. I wish it was easier to get, but it is easy to drink!!!! Great smell, full smooth flavor.
I also love beer of the day calendar from MIL!!!!
