Brother B stopped by with a few beers to sample. He's trying to cultivate my taste to appreciate Belgian Wheats, so he brought one of his favorites,
Allagash Tripel Ale. The ale is 9 % ABV. In the glass, it has a nice cloudy appearance like a hefeweizen. I tasted mild lemon citrus and slight herbal notes to the beer. I wish I had a lemon wedge or fish and chips to go along with beer. Since we were drinking with an appetizer or apples and cheese, I dropped a slice of Braeburn in the the glass. Hmmmm. Tasty.
