Long time without

As I was lamenting the fact I haven't been to a beer fest this year and hadn't had anything out of the ordinary, due the lack of ability to do so serious beer shopping (you have to have time off).



Pictured above are two beers brought back from the east coast.



The Pomegranet Wheat in a can. For a can beer I give it 3.5 out of 5. I would love to taste it on tap or in a bottle. The flavor was good and the pomengranet gave it a unique taste, but I have been spoiled by the best beers in the country. Yeah I said best. The pacific northwest including california has the best beer outside of europe (i haven't had an accurate prolonged exposure..yet). The wheat was underscored, but that was a can issue.



Diamonback Lager in a bottle. A 3 out of a 5. I am not a fan of lagers, but it tasted what I expect in a Lager to taste like. The hops good, but it was lacking a good aroma and real flavor.
