Bourban County Brand Stout

The second beer Brother B brought to taste was Bourban County Brand Stout from Goose Hollow Beer Co. of Chicago, IL. I have never had anything like it. It's stout aged in oak bourban barrels. The stout is so dense it's opaque. It's a thick necked, burly beer.  It tastes sweet on the front with chocolate malts, and it's all bourban on the back. There's no hint of charcoal. It's a great cold weather, sipping beer: a winter warmer, the port of stout.
