Isarweizen

Brother Brehk and I took a pilgrimage to the local store yesterday. We selected a few beers for closer inspection and them home. Our first consumption was Heater Allen's Isarweizen (1.012 BG, 4.8%, 15 IBU, 5 SRM) . Created from a recipe from the IsarBrau Brew Pub in Munich, the beer was on been in release since Memorial Day. Isarweizen is a light wheat beer. It has an aroma of apples with a hint of citrus. Brother Brehk says it is a classic Bavarian Wheat. I know it's a cloudy beer with mellow, drinkable finish.

We both recommend it.

-Cheers,
RD
