Two Lompocs

Today,  I prayed at the Miser Monday Service of the Church of Beer at my local Lompac. "Lompac means local beer." If your are a S.N.O.B, you know where you should be drinking. I imbibed the holy elixir known as IPA. It's odd to have two brand IPAs on tap, but I was ready for the word and spirit of beer.

I started with the Centennial IPA. They call it a "classic NW IPA. Nicely balanced and easy drinking with all the hop flavors that Portlanders insist on.  (6.0% a/v). "

It's okay, but it's not an extreme. It's an IPA for those wishing to learn to like true IPAs. It's a bit pale. It's a bit like a pale ale.

Next, I studied the liturgy of the C-note.

This is big beer. This is an extreme beer. At 100 IBU's, I enjoyed the ale immensely. It is not as hoppy as Maximus, but it is worthy of consumption for all hop heads.

Until next time, save a coaster for me.
