The mrs was nice enough to keep her eye out for the Samuel Adams limited "Imperial Series".
She picked up the Imperial Stout.
I liked most of the beer, the chocolate and coffee flavor, rich and dark with a good smell. The flavor I didn't like was the anise. Alcohol doesn't go well with the anise. I don't care for licorice in general, so that ruined it for me. The price also makes it a iffy venture as well, $10 for a 4 pack. considering I found Old Rasputin at Fred Meyers for $6 for a 4 pack.
