Been a while
It has been a while. I haven't had much for new beers for a while due to working too many hours. I also haven't had time to get out to where the good beers are.
I have had the two beers pictured. The pomengranite wheat, a 3.5 out 5 for a can beer. good pomengranite flavor, but I didn't get the since of wheat. But the I liked it.
The Diamondback lager, was 3 out of 5. It tasted just like a lager should have. I wasn't impressed with the flavor or the aroma.
East Coast Breweries sitll don't have the overall power that the Pacific Northwest Breweries do.
Honorable Mentions:
1-Ninkasi brewing -making grat IPA and a red.
2-Deschutes Brewing making the Black Butte XX

I had the Ninkasi Tricerahops yesterday. It was a fine beer with a smooth taste for a triple hopped beer, but frank I prefer the Maximus by Lagunitias.
I also had the Prodigal Sun. I nice beer, but not really a true IPA. Not bold and bit fruity....
Finally, I had the Terminal Gravity Extra Special Golden. A great beer for Golden. I don't really care for Goldens, but this was nice.
Ninkasi is turning out some of the best beers I have had in a while.
Roots is the only other standout.
Going to the Bendbrewfest this weekend any requests?
