Lazy Boy

For our second beer, Brother Brehk selected Belgian Golden Ale from Lazy Boy Brewing Company out of Everett Washington. Neither of us had tried their beer before. It's a blast: Literally. When I took a swig, my head shot back. My eyes popped open. This is one extreme beer. It's bitter. In no way is it a traditional golden ale. The tastes mellows over the course of emptying the glass. But then, on their web-site, Lazy Boy describes their Belgian Golden as Strong Ale with traditional malts, hops and a unique strain of yeast to create a flavor packed experience." I could not agree more.
